Competition Structure
The ArcMC competition structure serves as the formal pathway for students to advance from local to global recognition.
Preliminary Rounds (Online)
- Accessibility: Open to individual participants from any country with internet access.
- Frequency: Held twice per year.
- Registration Fee: $25 USD per participant per round.
- Medal Allocation: Based on overall scores: Gold (Top 4%), Silver (Next 8%), Bronze (Next 16%).
Regional Rounds (Paper-Based)
- Supervision: Administered under the guidance of officially approved ArcMC Proctors.
- Format: Standardized paper-based examinations provided by ArcMC.
- Medal Allocation: Percentage-based medal allocation (4% Gold, 8% Silver, 16% Bronze) within each proctored group.
- Medals: Physical medals distributed to winning students through their proctors.
Continental Rounds
- Eligibility: Open exclusively to medal winners from Preliminary and Regional Rounds.
- Hosting: Organized in collaboration with esteemed academic institutions across different continents.
- Recognition: Prestigious awards and recognition given to top performers at the Continental level.
